You Favorite Oblivion Mods? -

Well this is one of my favorite games of all time. I have beaten it a few times on the Xbox 360 before I got back into PC gaming. I only recently bought it for the PC & like to change the experience since I have put so many hours into it. So my question is what are your favorite Oblivion mods? As we speak I'm installing Qarl's Texture Pack III & some of the mods ibitato suggested here: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=316046.

I think I going to give Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul a whirl. It looks interesting & seems it's a popular one as well.

There are some that use OBGE to add motion blur and Ambient occlusion, you should take a look at those. Especially the motion blur, it looks amazing. if you get it, just make sure you get the forward moving and side to side motion blur.
If you like spell casting the Midas mod is a damn fine one.

All great suggestions, thanks. Also as I mentioned in my original post, I've never modded Oblivion. I can't believe how easy it is to do using OBMM. It takes only a few mins to figure it out thanks to the wealth of info out there.

OOO 1.33
Unique Landscapes (HIGHLY recommended)
Qarl's Texture Pack
Clearer water
Illumination within
Ren's hair
All these cahnge the look of the game except for OOO, which is a gameplay overhaul. I usually use OOO and graphics mods only, since OOO changes the gameplay enough in my opinion.
Could also get some misc texture mods, like Better Book Jackets.

Kuminko manor i think it was called, great player mansion with alchemy lab personal dungeon, store clerk, storage, fast travel marker, and npcs that live in the mansion. same guy also made a castle that was pretty cool.
Hades armor is a killer reskin of one of the heavy/med armors looks totally bad ass.
Been ages since i played oblivion but those 2 mods always stuck with me being great.

I think I got it from tesnexus. But that site seems to be down at the moment.
You can get them seperately here:
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.co...w=GlobalSearch
Keep in mind that some mods that add/change certain things in the landscape will most likely conflict with this. Especially custom houses that are somewhere in the wilderness.

which mod is it that makes the grass and foilage look darker green? i saw pics of it before but forget what its called, made the whole game look way more realistic...since well, most of what you see half the time is grass and trees.
some good sky box mods would be nice too. Been planning on replaying this game but finding the right mods that work well together and getting them installed is a serious pain in the ass

You kidding? Most of the enjoyment from Oblivion comes from modding it.
In fact, sometimes I load it up, pimp it out, and then run around for a few minutes. Then I get bored. The modding is the best part!
Also, OP: Make sure you change ugridstoload to 7 or 9. Look up the Oblivion tweak guide to see what I mean. A setting of 7 or 9 makes the game so much more immersive graphically.

^ Will do. Question when using ODMM do I need to even mess with the Data Files in the Oblivion loader? I notice when I disable something in ODMM it's still checked in the loader. Oh also thanks for your helps guys I really appreciate it.
