I would be curious is there any method to support ATI Tray Tools in general. Understand the idea of testing hardware, but that's more like 'for the people on forum' (250$ understandable cost for test build).
Was wondering something more practical like example donate the money for signing drivers. Hell it's not that much to consider that Catalyst is absolute and total bloated ATI/AMD software which takes half the damn machine memory and beside that as performance hit and there would probably be more than hell a lot of people more using 'ATI Tray Tools' instead of anything else. I know me seeing MSI Afterburner, EVGA precision, Rivatuner, GPU Tool, ATITool and so on I would be first in line switch all those up to 1 ATT and would be more than happy to pay for it even.
I've searched the forums through and I see no threat created as collection for 'driver signing' only. Only thing I see is someone raising some petition that ATI should do something about it. Why in the hell would AMD/ATI EVER support an 3rd party software in any sense (that is just plain stupid) as they are trying to build an small fortress of software around Catalyst and drop it to Online/Internet, atm, with Fusion development and on top of that probably dream is to make "one-software-to-all-digital-needs-with-protection"-type of solution. Which would be probably worst than our beloved Securom in games and protected probably by enabled features.
So, drivers costs 250$ per test (I know it used to be 2500$ for all)? 500$ whole thing? (there's 12 months to collection pass and addition of signing is hellish even with driver kits ;P)
Where is the donate button for this?
(wouldn't mind collection meter hell, if it's so much to ask I'll donate the server to run the web pages myself.)
