Ram timings and passwords on Macs -

I'm trying to fix up some Macs running OS 7,8 and 10, but the only person that knows the password to the administrative account retired. Is there any way to get around the lack of a password on any Mac OS?
I'm also looking for a way to change ram timings, I noticed the timings on the iMacs and I think they can be improved, any support for any model is appriacted. |
