recently i post a problem that i have with my x-fi titanium pro champ series
and my nforce-sli clasic problem well i try the x-fi pack of daniels and all works so stable no more crashes no more bug no moe clips on sound......

SB X-Fi Series Support Pack 2.0 is my saver!!!!!!!!

(the latest titanium driver and win7 makes crashes on vista makes clips and noise sometimes in games) with this driver in pack and earliers i havent problem....so as the new drivers comes out more problem they give us...

I also use the X-Fi Series Support Pack 2.0. It saved me so many headaches and produced such a good sound. I don't know what I would do with out it.

Can you provide a link? Looks like it supports my Forte. I will give them a go. Thanks. Just got the Forte today & it's driving me nuts! It doesn't seem to like Windows 7 x64.

True true! Daniel showed more knowledge than Creative themselves. Of course this isn't a perfect world and they won't hire him. Instead they threaten to sue him.

The worst part is that where i work, Creative Netherlands has their own corner (doing their logistics and RMA from there for the Benelux) and even the colleagues there say that Creative is crap. The hardware is great, but they suck @ software development and handling with customers.

I had to deal with Creative once. I had channel swapping issues in Vista 64 a year ago with my new X-Fi Titanium (and with my Prelude, but that's Auzentech's department) in my HTPC and i mailed Creative and Auzentech about it describing the problem in full detail.

Creative's response was one %#$^$ sentence!

Lucky for me the problems were fixed in newer drivers for both the Prelude and Titanium (and for my wife's Fatal Pro).
So buying a new card again wouldn't be the solution at all. Glad i'm not that stupid.

For Forte users, I'd stick with Auzentech's drivers.

I put Daniel K's in the other day just to see if they were any better (have used them before but not recently) and with the Forte, they are not as good as Auzentech's 1.1 drivers.

I find the mixing is way off. The L4D2 Demo is a good example. With the Auzentech drivers everything sounds fine but with DK's drivers, the voices/music are "overmixed" and loud (while the guns sound muffled) and the whole soundscape sounds completely wrong.

JM2C but DK really needs a newer set.
