another one taken on the same night...Brisbane CBD

the picture could've been more colourful...was taken on a saturday night where most of the office buildings had lights off...the picture made it look like there is a lot more light than there really was...

Thats one BIG car, with a boot (or trunk) 8 foot of the ground.
So, its gone from 30' to 8' and now probably 4', lol.

Still, i feel for you. I hate the look of watching something fall, knowing that you cant do anything about it. That happened with my iPhone, 5' onto concrete. Luckily it was OK.

So I got bored and felt like some macro photography. It's quite beautiful what kind of composition you can create with just a little plant and some water drops -- so simple:

Kool kool thanks.
All I have right now is a Nikkor AF-S DX 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR. Im pretty satisfied with the lens, but Im still learning. I have been taking pictures using my own "Optimize Image" settings and I have sharpness at +2 along with my own contrast and color settings.

WLADYC thats cool but how does that work? does the infrared filter have some kind of filter for blues and reds? hence different colors on her hair for those 2 photos?

my modified body uses probably 650nm cut filter, so the sensor still received more color (compared to 720nm cut or 900nm). all the false colors (hair, leaves, grass etc) on the images edited in photoshop ( color balance, channel mixer, hue/saturation or selective color ), depends on what colors you prefer to display.
