yes but that 128bit mem bus could be a problem in some games, if you dont mind dx11 atm then the best buy imo is 275gtx for around 200€ or lower.
Or yea if you really want dx11 fx then go with ati 5850 for around 250€. |

true it is a 128-bit card , but i was thinking more along the lines of...
it's gddr5 it's 150 in usd it uses a single 6-pin and low power usage to be power supply friendly for a 400w supply. poster is coming from a 9500gt , and lets be honest , thats a physx card right there . a gts250 wouldn't be a bad idea either . they are ultra cheap right now and miles above a 9500gt . |

If you are desperate to stay NV, then surf around for a GTX275 (you might be lucky enough to find one), but I would recommend the HD4890 or, as TheHunter said, get another £50 or so and get the uber-cool 5850

I'd say a 5770 as well, most logical choice IMO - altho the OP does say nvidia only for whatever silly reason.
