Default adding roof fan good, bad - intake, exhaust ? - 09-03-2009, 21:27 | posts: 3,728 | Location: uk

i have a small space infront of my psu and drive bays big enoug for a 120mm fan would this be good as a intake as the cool air will be blowing just in front of the cpu cooler and also in to the psu exhaust fan ??

i have 3x120 mm exhausts at the back atm and 3 intake fans (2 on side panel and 1 in front of case) im thinking as i only have 1 intake that actuly feeds the cpu would this be worth doing and the 2x 120mm side panel fans blow directly on to the gpu so is not giving the cpu any cool air :/

ps my system isent hot i just want it to be cooler than is so i can turn my gpu fans down that will make it much quieter

also will a 120mm hole saw do the same job on plexi as it would on metal ?
