They work with Raid where as the vista drivers on Win 7 didn't work with raid. HD benchmarks for my system didn't change at all from the default windows drivers. My mem read speed did go up by 2k MB/s. the major thing that feels different to me is my network connection. It feels faster then it did before. Websites seem to load better and transferring files on my network transfer faster then what they did before. I was using the default windows drivers before these since there was no other driver out that worked with Raid. I have the 15.35s installed. all in all they are keepers for me.

I have installled Windows 7 7100 and tried all the betas without these drivers and found it worked perfectly fine.

Exactly what is the point of installing these? Please do tell?

The point in installing the drivers is they provide more stability in some cases, better communication and better transfer rates and like Prod said hes internet seems faster which i can also say it do seem faster after installing these, All tho the Windows drivers do work great but if u want the best out of your motherboard i would advise installing these but i would make a system restore point b4 installing jsut incase something goes wrong being as its all still beta.

Maccarulez use the 15.37 ones which are for AMD Nvidia chipsets while the .35 is for intel nvidia chipsets.

This is not true, these drivers are only for AMD chipsets, only difference of .35 and .37 is that .37 include 185.85 whql drivers and .35 not.

on nvidia's site... the .35 come up for 6 and 7 series boards while the .37 come up for 9 series

*edit* my bad lol.. im wrong, the 6 and 7 series boards listed under the compat for .37 do indeed give .37 on their website... silly me lol

hopefully removing the old vista chipset drivers on win7 wont fluff it all up.. dont really feel like reinstalling the os again

I think you might need to go back and re-read the driver info it states that the 15.35 driver is compatible with motherbards:

nForce 790i Ultra SLI
nForce 790i SLI
nForce 780i SLI
nForce 750i SLI
nForce 740a SLI
nForce 710a SI
nForce 680i SLI
nForce 680i LT SLI
nForce 680a SLI
nForce 650i SLI
nForce 650i Ultra
nForce 590 SLI AMD
nForce 570 SLI AMD
nForce 570 Ultra AMD
nForce 550

Where as the 15.37 driver is compatible with these motherboards:

nForce 980a
nForce 780a
nForce 760i SLI
nForce 750a
nForce 740i SLI
nForce 730i - GeForce 9400/GeForce 9300
nForce 730a - GeForce 8300/8200
nForce 720i
nForce 720a - GeForce 8100
nForce 630i -GeForce 7150
nForce 630i - GeForce 7100

I tried the ethernet, sata and SMU drivers from the 15.37 x64 on my good old nforce4 ... failed miserably - had to load a system restore point to be able to boot again.

Now i tried only the ethernet and SMU drivers from the 15.35 pack and so far it works. But as of now i can't tell a difference to the MS drivers.

The .35 works all but the network drivers. any heavy load on the ethernet plug and it will just stop working on the network. I would have to reboot to fix it.

So I had to uninstall the ethernet drivers from .35 package, but other then that the rest of the drivers works for me.

what he means is the networking part of the installer is causing issues not the actual ethernet drives i am assuming and i had a simular issue with the network management tools where it would randomly drop the connection each time the control panel was started for some reason. also in the event viewer it shows the networking services are not properly configured for win 7 as they show up as interactive services. in short the removals of the network management solved everything on a 780i board. everything else seems to be smooth and fine. also i could be wrong and it was his drivers but im just assuming since he said he only can see display drivers and the other one in uninstaller.

Working fine here, but hard drive performance still dismal.

btw has anyone else noticed the uneven CPU core use?

That's weird about the HD-performance, because here, on an MSI Diamond 780i mobo, without the nForce drivers the WEI score is 2.9 for HDD, and with the drivers it jumps to 5.8.

For me, these are VERY good working drivers.
