Laptops & Notebooks They’re completely portable, and they use less power and make less noise than desktop models. But what if you have questions ?

first, i'de like to say there is a small risk for overclocking, where you CAN fry your chip, its a very small chance and it rarely happens, but it does happen.
if you get an app like rivatuner you can overclock your GPU.
just watch the temps, dont let it get over 70c, and you should be fine.
you will be able to overclock maybe 10-30% with stability.
i was able to overclock an ATI mobility radeon 16MB from 160/160 to 190/180 clocks.
also try turning some ingame settings down.
also, get the latest drivers from Nvidia for your video card.

He should be fine over 70c, laptop gpu's are supposed to deal with very high heat, well thats what i hear anyway.

Im currently running with the modded driver 172.92 from laptopvideo2go.
And put in an ekstra gig of ram.
Im a bit scared of OC, mainly cause i dont wanna fry my laptop..but on the other side..i do want to have that " ekstra kick" from the oc.
If any has this laptop or knows about it..and have tryied to oc it, please let me know how much i can push it ( using rivatuner ).
acording to speedfan this is my readings when idle:
gpu 52c
hd0 38c
temp1 38c
core 59c + 69c
ambient 0c
i dont know if u can use this inf for anything?

idle temps seem about right, GPU laptiops ca heat up to around 85c and still be fine, mine gets to around 75-80c most of the time, just make sure the laptop has plenty of air flow (notebook coller maybe?) and just push the clocks slighty, what are the standard clocks??
