Nice find thanks for the heads up. Is the new Open Gl 3.0 the only thing that are included in drivers? Or are there any other release notes regarding game improvements and or bug fixes?

OK. I gave them a shot and ran 3DMark Vantage and Fallout 3, so far.
The installation was a little bit longer than it usually takes on my system (Vista x64, SP1). No error message or anything like that, though.
In 3DMark Vantage, during the two GPU tests (Jane Nash and New Calico), I had flashing and missing textures. Something I haven't seen for a very, very long time on my system. Could be a driver problem, or Vantage needs an update. Who knows. Fallout 3 ran just about the same as before. Sorry, but I didn't run a benchmark of any sort. Just my personal experience. No graphical errors in Fallout 3, though.
3DMark Vantage:
Forceware 180.70: P17889 (CPU: 29706, GPU: 15794, PhysX 8.10.29 enabled)
Forceware 181.00: P17942 (CPU: 29820, GPU: 15839, PhysX 8.10.29 enabled)
I'll give Crysis Warhead and GRID a quick look, too, just to see if there are any graphic problems...

hm dunno how it shows opengl 3 but it does add a few strings, i had 171 Extensions before now whit this driver 174... i also tried nvemulate tool and it still showed open gl 2.1.2, apparently it shows opengl3 only when u actually do stuff with it otherwise it shows 2.1.2 -
Quote:

Only when you use the new wglCreateContextAttribsARB() entrypoint to create an OpenGL 3.0 context, then query the version string it will return "OpenGL 3.0".
|

or i do still need to use that opengl registry found at openGl.org ,. but i dunno how to import lol

Tested GRID and Crysis Warhead briefly and both seem to be running just fine. (I loaded a few save games in Warhead and started two races in GRID.) Everything was smooth and no graphical glitches. So, besides the mentioned problems in Vantage, these drivers are keepers for me, so far.

been testing these with GTa 4 it seems it has somewhat fixed the missing texture problems, by that i mean i still get some missing textures here and there but they come back and i dont get the hole map disappearing on me so ya seems this driver fixe's that, regarding performance seems the same as before no changes here

Did you tick the "Enable OpenGL 3.0 / GLSL 1.3 APIs" box & apply?
Latest nvemulate tool Built: Aug 11 2008
Download:
http://developer.download.nvidia.com.../nvemulate.exe
Quote Direct from NVIDIA NVemulate Site
http://developer.nvidia.com/object/nvemulate.html
Quote:

To enable the OpenGL 3.0 and GLSL 1.30 features, select the “Enable OpenGL 3.0 / GLSL 1.3 APIs" checkbox and press the "Apply" button. No changes to NVemulate settings take effect until the “Apply” button is pressed. Pressing the “Restore” button reverts the display settings to the driver’s current applied state.

Just gave these a good run on TF2. On Lazytown, I would usually get bogged down pretty good, but these stopped a lot of the slowdown issues, so generally a good bump in FPS, maybe a good 5-6 or so.
Keepers.

No good for Lotro in DX10,still get flickering shadows.
Back to 178.24 for me.
Already submitted a bug report couple a weeks ago for Nvidia and was hoping this was fix in this release but no.
