Hi, got a brand new system with fresh OS and latest drivers. For some reason when I play an old game like Counter-Strike I get FPS drops whenever in a firefight. drops down to about 30..
 tried with a geforce 8200 as well and I get the same results. I suspect the memories. got "Corsair DOMINATOR TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF 2x2GB (tot. 4GB) DDR2 PC2-8500 1066MHz DHX Heat Spreader *WITH AIRFLOW FAN* CL5-5-5-15" my bios set 5-5-5-5-18, but I changed it to ....-15. also I boosted the Voltage from the mobo to 2.1V. any help would be VERY appreciated. |
