slight improvment in vantage, gpu score went up for about ~200 (from 11.7k to 11.9k), crysis warhead feels same, also i dont see sli profile for it so i guess we are out of luck. also didnt notice DV bug that 177.98 had at least after ~2 reboots, maybe it will apear later

177.92

178.13

(cpu score is bit lower since i usualy do clean reboot before runing vantage and i didnt this time, was playing crysis before)

E8500
GTX 280 621/1400/1200
4GB Ram PC2-6400

Crysis Warhead

GAMER, 1680x1050, 4xAA, 3 loops, avalanche, tod=0

XP 32:

177.92: 45,57
178.13: 45.47

V64 DX10:

177.92: 42,18
178.13: 41.21

XP: The difference is negligible. Those differences also appear between benchmarks on the same driver.
Minimum fps has changed from 30,07 to 31.57 on the new driver.

Vista64: Again, differences are negligible. Minimum fps changed from 27.71 to 27.55, most likely not caused by driver.

Are you trying to install in safe mode? If you are, that's your problem.

The problem is that the physx drivers require Windows Installer to install, and that service won't load in safe mode.

Here is the solution:

Extract the drivers like normal, but before installing, remove the physx file from the directory you extracted to.

Install the VGA drivers in safe mode, and then boot into "normal" mode and install the physx drivers there.

Hope this helps.

david85, some people are reporting the nvidia drivers with physx are hanging on physx install. You could try driver from post #12.

The drivers are meant for people who dont want physx taking away some fps..

You have to install the PhysX software separately from driver. You can remove PhysX software from installation folder, install first driver, and after that PhysX System Software v8.09.04.

PS. @Garnet&Black, you are faster

Great minds think alike.

I'll try these drivers out after I get off of work.

I only need 300 points to break 30 K in vantage - I wonder if these drivers will do the trick...
