Default Riva Tuner Wont Install - 09-11-2008, 05:33 | posts: 1

When I try and install the latest version of Riva Tuner I keep getting an error:

C:\Users\Nicolas\RivaTuner210-[Guru3D.com].exe is not supported archive

I'm currently running Vista 32bit and I have my User Account Control set to OFF. I kinda of need Riva Tuner, since Ntune won't install either and that its the only other program I know of that will allow me to set my fan speeds for my video card. I have a 9800 GTX and the fan speed is too damn low. So basically I'm screwed is I can't figure this out.

First off, you posted in the wrong thread, rivatuner questions should go in the rivatuner forums.

Second, given the file name you posted it looks like you are having problems extracting rivatuner from the 7zip sfx archive, either don't have a compatible archive program to decompress it, or the download was corrupted.

Try using 7zip here or winRAR here to decompress the archive, if that doesn't work, re-download rivatuner
