Default nForce Driver 19.06 - XP|Vista 32-bit WHQL - 09-04-2008, 04:23 | posts: 11,706 | Location: Guru3D Trenches | User is Offline

Thanks to Fernando1 for spotting them.

Fujitsu Simens released a new NFORCE Driver, for the whole NVIDIA nForce motherboard series. The new revision build is Version: 19.06
These drivers are WHQL signed 32bit nForce chipset drivers. They are part of the brandnew nForce chipset driverpacks v19.06 dated 08/13/2008, which obviously were designed for MCP79 chipsets, but they do support a lot of other chipsets too. The Vista drivers are compatible with all NF4-7 chipsets (except nForce4 Intel Edition).

The included binaries are:
  • Ethernet Driver (v67.86) WHQL
  • SataIDE Driver (v10.3.0.39) WHQL
  • RAID Driver (v10.3.0.39) WHQL
  • RAIDTOOL (v10.3.0.39)
  • SMBus (v4.67) WHQL
  • SMU (v1.58) WHQL
  • Audio Driver (v1.00.0.33) WHQL
  • AwyMode driver (v.6.0.6000.107)WHQL
  • Installer (v6.08)

Thanks for the heads up HH!!

I have never updated my chip-set drivers before without doing a complete reinstall of the OS , so please forgive me if this is redundant but , should I just do the add/remove nforce drivers then install OR let it update over the old drivers.

should I also remove ALL nvidia drivers? (video included?)

thanks for any help/advice

I would advise you to remove all drivers, except display (which can be selected in the add/remove program box when you select to uninstall nVidia drivers).

Make sure you have a backup of the current chipset drivers you're using just in case things go wrong.

Roger that , I have them saved both on disk and my backup HDD , thanks!!

I have some things to do then i will give them a shot , I'll report back!!

I hope this fixes the problem I have with my OB Network card , sometimes at boot it won't connect fully to the network OR takes a long time to do so , I tried both nics and nic 1 seems to work the best.

Downloading them now, always interested in new chipset drivers. I wonder why they are released by another company other than nvidia while they are whql. I guess Nvidia will have them up anytime soon.

Will report back on how they perform.

I'm guessing the lack of a 64-bit WHQL is the reason Nvidia haven't released them on their site yet.

Besides, these popped up a while ago (read here), so I'm assuming fujitsu just grabbed them and stuck them up so they can seem more "up to date" than other companies.

I'm using these on an nForce 4 board. The only problem I'm having with these is my SATA HDD is being picked up as an IDE in UDMA6. =/

Why the hell the damn NVIDIA doesn't do a new chipset unified package for all the O.S.?

15.17 are disappeared and none knows why, but they didn't release anything after them officially!

Now ok these 19.06 could seem reliable but no version for 64Bit O.S.!

Really annoying!

One is coming, these aren't supposed to be out yet. I'm guessing they'll put them on the nvidia site once a 64-bit version passes whql.

I noticed that NAM has been removed on this driver... and now "awaymode" driver has been added;

The Away Mode Device will appear after BIOS has defined the Away mode device and ACPI control method in the ACPI namespaces.
