i was amazed today that i hadnt updated to june 2008's directX runtime setup from microsoft download center. when i did i still have REALTEK HD AUDIO at 7.1 CONFIGURATION. now, without room correction and no speaker fill i get EAX in gears of war and all games such as portal or tf2!...
SERIOUSLY! all you have to do is get realtek HD audio and get the latest directX runtime setup (june 2008) and install it! try it with a games for windows game. it actually works. |
