Gonna try these on my 8800 Ultra's.. From the looks of the original INF, they are made with the 8xxx series and 9xxx series in mind.

Well so far this is what i got..

Best driver i have used to date. So far got an FPS boost in COD4, Grid.. Also STABILITY.

Grid no longer crashes when i exit the game, and i didnt get kicked out once. No Stop responding errors.

COD4 (1920x1200 Max'd) was a Solid 100-135 FPS, Every map.. On SINGLE CARD. With SLI on, 125fps Solid never falling duing anything.

I am VERY satisfied so far! I recommend ALL 8000 Series users in Vista install these!

Hello people,

The INF file says the following:
[DEV_0401] NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT
[DEV_0402] NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT

I wonder if this driver supports my videocard on my Acer notebook (GeForce 8600M GT)?

Thanks!

Lol 177.66 were best drivers available for (my) 9600GT.

Anyway installed 177.72 , running properly, DV/SLI worx (good enough for me)

No Physx on 9600GT, Ran vantage Grapic Test 2 (galactico) and i noticed the FPS drop faster then 177.66 , but thats only for drops and its about 1fps slower, also the same when the FPS goes up in rather fast tempo, an increase of 1fps.

Avg fps from 35.45 to 36.12 ... beter IQ and FPS so far, keepers!

with 177.41 i got about 41FPS on Grid compared to 175.19 35FPS

Dont test FPS in Grid , i test in COJdx10/Crysisdx10/Vantage/DMCdx10 , when they all give me good preformance etc its a keeper for me, cuz it prolly will drive good on most games.

Idle: 47
Stressed: 67

800/2000/2300 @ 105mhz pci-e , only can run these clocks with 177.66/177.72

Looking forward for a x64 Vista version
177.66 were awesome but I still got some fps drop in GRID and in Devil May Cry 4 using the DX10 rendering mod.

it does not, you have to download the modded inf too

tried this with The Witcher, GRID and DMC4dx10, runs smoother than 177.66
