Rivatuner: Fan %speed switches around

Sometime after my pc has been on for some while (few hours) I get the problem that rivatuner switches around the fan speed %'s:

40% becomes 60%
50% stays 50%
60% becomes 40%
70% becomes 30%
etc...

It still displays the old (70, but in reality 30)% speeds but I can clearly hear it running much slower then 40%. The problem is, that if I then start to play a game, while my GPU Core gets hotter, the fanspeed actually decreases (because of the flipped %) and my PC shuts itself down ;x.

The only way I have managed so far to get RivaTuner to correct this problem is to reboot my PC, which is rather annoying.


Does anyone have the same problems, or have a solution for this? If you need more info about my PC, just ask.
