well my copyfinally arrived today, and i must say it is awsome, after unistalling it twice by accident becouse the whole thing is in russian was kind of anoying, but the end result is brilliant, best thing since screamer 4x4.
at the moment what im trying to do is put a program on so i dont have to get the cd out everytime i want to play it but im not having much luck.
i found some info on a web page and it roughly translates to this:
1. You establish game.
2. You rock DAEMON Of tools NOT below 4 versions, remove in the point Of emulation all [galochki] (in this case the mark of [daemona] into the the [tree] it becomes red).
3. You disconnect ALL real and virtual CD/DVD the drives (besides, certainly, the virtual drive of [daemona]).(*)
4. You start game. It you requests to establish the drivers of protection. We establish, we are overloaded.
5. a) We take means third CD with the expansion. MDF (it it must weigh approximately 785 megas-byte) and we copy it into the root of folder with the already established game
b) we take file. MDS (mini_UAZ_CD3), which is applied to this instruction, and we place it into the root of folder with the already established game
6. We mount file from point 5.b. with the aid of DAEMON.
7. We start game. Wait, until StarForce verifies “disk”, not on what pressing.
8. Pleasant game!
i get lost at around number 5 a)...
any help would be appriciated, thanx in advance, james

FIrst thing is first, which looks good, the game or the hot blonde above.
Really wish this gets released in the states or in Europe, where at least you can still buy the game and import it. but your right it does look pretty good so, i would be really happy if they released this game in other countries.

as i said i only got the game yesterday, theres doubts to wether its coming over here or not, the game doesnt even seem to have a language option.
but as far as not having to use my cd doesnt anybody have any ideas?
the mini.mds file they tell me to download wont open inside daemon tools becouse it says "unable to mount image, file not accesible"
it uses star force 4.5 i think.

Problem is, if its not popular enouugh the warez crowd cant crack it so the rest of the people who own a legal copy cant get a no cd crack, so guess your gonna have to wait till it gets released in the rest of Europe and or US for it to be mass pirated first before there is a crack.

how about using smaller text that doesn't make us want to gouge our eyes out with a wooden cooking spoon.... such as the standard text size.
thank you.
..... since when were installer's hard? they're damn near always the same layout. or how about this one. click a button. if a dialog appears that seems like it might be asking to cancel the installation... click one of the buttons. if you clicked the wrong one, the installer will exit... and you can restart the installer and select the OTHER button in the first place.
Trial and error is usually the easiest way to overcome the language barrier when it comes to going through foreign installers for foreign games.

Sorry for bringing an old thread back to life, but it seems this game is finally out in europe.
I bought mine today and was quite amazed by it for 2 reasons.
1: I wasnt expecting it to be nearly as good as it is. Menu's feels a lot like Xpand Rally series (who use same Chrome engine), but offroading is a lot more comprehensive. You get to select low-range, 2wd or 4x4 drive anytime during play, which is nice.
2: This game runs like a dog! Argueably i turned all options to max and 4xAA, thinking my 8800GT should have no problem, but i was wrong. Game was often under 20fps and occasionally around 15. This is not good as i was expecting better performance.
Should add i use 1280x1024 resolution. And this was in single race mode.. only 1 car on screen. And there was a LOT of popup/ visible LoD change on screen. Certainly not a nicely optimized game, since Chrome engine is capable of smooth framerates with better image quality.

8800GT not capable of doing 12 x 10?
Thats weird cause i have a 7600GT and running the game(in english) and have the game set at 1280 x 1024, 4x AA and everything set to high.
If you want the english language you can try and fiind a file called Texts.scr in the data folder, and replace it with the one that is english.
I know it sounds weird but i have an english version which i updated to 1.3 and ofcourse it turned into russian.
So i uninstalled/reinstalled then made a backup of this file and did all updates.
Then put the file back and we were again in english.
Hope it helps..!

UAZ is an awesome vehicle. It'll take you places no other off road ever will. We used them when I did my national service (back home in Slovakia). Amazing machines, just like pretty much anything Russian lol...
