Default Getting a new Plasma/LCD TV... HELP! - 11-16-2007, 03:30 | posts: 2,903 | Location: Houston, TX

Alright so I really want a Plasma because I think they just look better, but all the plasmas I was looking at turned out to all be 720p and I am going to be playing it on my X-Box 360 and from what I understand I need 1080i
For PS3 I need 1080p correct?
What is the difference, is it just resolution and thats it?
All of those Plasmas I was looking at like the Panasonic TH-42PX75U for $1099.00 were awesome its just they were 720p..
some of the ones below can go to 1080i and 720p as well.. can someone explain to me what its all about?

Also Ill be mostly gaming on this TV, I have heard that plasma's have burn-in but there is a new technology that helps out a lot with it and I asked about the warranty if it covered burn-in and it does so I am not "too" worried about it now. What are your thoughts on this?

Please list any other TVs 42 Inch only please.

Toshiba 42HL167 $1399.00
