Default New ATI owner needing assistance - PARTIALLY FIXED - 10-15-2007, 16:54 | posts: 6

Hi all, 1st post. the display on my new X1950 pro pcie (on a freshly installed xpsp2) is "washed out". I do not see the option under the color tab to select Microsoft MCE black and white levels - which I have read in this forum is the fix for this problem. It just isn't there. I have tried the 7.4, 7.7, 7.9, and now 7.10 drivers - all with the same result. Is this option available to my card? and if so, how do I make it show up?

I did complete uninstalls between drivers and ran drivecleaner pro each time. No luck.

Any ideas?

EDIT: Installed 7.9 drivers from card manufacturer's (HIS) site instead of ATI and colors are much better. I still do not have the "MCE" options on the "Color" tab.
