Okay,

Here is the situation. I have a brand new PC I am putting together and I am having some problems with the video card which is a Voodoo5 5500 AGP card. I have tried about everything, flashing the mobo bios, installing the latest drivers, but this is getting silly. Speccs are as follows:

AMD Athlon 1.2 GHz
ECS KTV7A Motherboard with onboard sound
VIA KT133 (I think) chipset
256 MB PC133 Memory
40 GB 7200 RPM Maxtor HD
56x Acer CD ROM

Anyway, irregardless of what changes I make, the thing comes up like its looking jaundiced. It will come up in green or yellow. Switch to some other resolution and/or from 32 bit colr to 16 bit color, or visa versa, and it corrects itself. But initially, its like this video card is just plain confused. And no amount of switching it around seems to help.
Any clues, guys? I have three machines here, one with a GeForce2, one with a Voodoo3 and this one I am working on. I am loath to take apart any of the machines I already have running simply to get this beast up. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
