I have been trying to work out how to control the fan speed according to temps, not overly successful so far.
The standard card (X1900XT) must have an 'auto' range inbuilt in the BIOS, and it seems to have about 7 temperature steps for fan speed settings.
AtiTrayTools lets you set up a range of steps in this sort of manner.
Rivatuner does not seem to have any way to do this the same.
I found a guide which showed how to make fan profiles and trigger them via the GPU temp - triggering up and down steps at set temp points - but this is not the same result really as you must have the hardware monitoring running to have it work.
Is there a way to have it all setup more in the manner as per the standard system (or ATT)?
I was hoping there was a table in the registry, but none to be found. (not the RT one, an Ati one).
