Exclamation Terrible Artifacts with xfx6800gsXXX/rivatuner - 03-06-2006, 15:08 | posts: 5

hy guys,
i just exchanged my "xfx geforce 6800gs" with a new "xfx 6800gs extreme". i had the "standard gs" running with rivatuner, enableing all 16 pipes and vertex shader with no problems.
now i have installed the "extreme" one with all pipes enabled and i get horrible artifacts all over the screen(see picture below). i have changed nothing from the previous setup. if i disable the masked pipes, everything works fine. rivatuner has applied all settings from the previous card automaticlly to the new "extreme". may this be the problem? i uninstalled everything, but when i reinstall rivatuner and drivers, every setting is restored to the one`s from the "standard gs" setup.
please help me, because i have to return one of the cards within the next day.

BIG THX in advance
koala
