Default defining new screen resolution - 09-28-2005, 21:01 | posts: 5

is it possible to define a new screen resolution that is not one of the default ones on the card, using RivaTuner?

e.g. card lists 1600x1200 as a standard resolution. I want to add a non-standard resolution of 1640x1230.

a long time ago, I did this by putting values directly into the graphics chip registers. I forget what kind of card it was and it was in Dos. it involved calculating a lot of values for retrace and other things I don't remember now.
