Question Ati Radeon 9500pro/9700 - 07-18-2005, 12:21 | posts: 24

Hi all

First of all I have to say Rivatuner is great program keep up a good work.

I have ATI Radeon 9500PRO/9700 and what I'm confused with is this card 9500PRO or it is 9700. I bought it as 9700 1.5 years ago.
And can this card be upgraded to 9700PRO.
Thanks to replys in advance.

The only difference between a 9500Pro and 9700 is the width of the memory bus and that's not softmodable (since you can't produce more PCB traces using software ).
The 9500 Pro has 128bit memory and the 9700 has 256bit memory. Both cards have 8 pipelines.
