Does ATI Tray Tools always have to be open? -

I'm not overclocking, but does any of the option changes in ATI Tray Tools require you to keep the program open?
Can I just change stuff, close it, and the options be saved? Also what is Trilinear Filtering Optimization, AF Optimization, and Mip Map Filter? |
