Well my radeon 8500 le broke down recently so I was forced to upgrade ,got a GF 4 TI 4200 and was expecting a bit higer score.Scored around 8500 with the old R 8500 LE ,with G4 I get around 9300 ,does this sound right? was expecting around 10k (I am refering to 3D Mark 2001).My cpu is allready oclocked to 1.63 and does not wan't to go higher (it's a Palomino) ,any comments are welcome.

Are you overclocking and tweaking the card ? With my 1800+ palamino @ stock and the card tweaked all I ever managed was 10.3k . Your score sounds stock tho . Turn off AA and V-sync and overclock the piss out of the card . Do a defrag on the drive before you run it .
What Drivers are you using ? The 40.72's always scored best for me . Good luck .
