Quad SLI problem with sli bridge -
08-04-2012, 22:30
I have a quad sli bridge with a PSU and mobo that support quad sli but my PC still can't enable quad sli. GPU-Z and CPU-Z both show that the card is plugged in and working but nvidia won't enable quad sli. EDIT: Device Manager is reporting error 43.

Does the card with driver issues run by itself?
I would swap the card with the issues to the lead card

Well, it seems that the pci-express-molex adapter is causing the issues. Any hints on what to do?

Contact Corsair and tell them you need 2 pci-e connectors for your psu. I think it's like $15 or so + shipping.

Yeah, it's definitely the PSU/ pci-express to molex connectors. Going to return this and get a coolermaster 1200 watt no longer necessitating the use of poor adapters.

Good to hear. By the way, what frames do you get generally when gaming?
I'm willing to bet 300+ when fully maxed.
In older games 500+
