Default Spacing sound - Control panel Creative - Headphones - 06-09-2012, 12:20 | posts: 50

I have an X-FI XtremeMusic on windows 7 and I switch on the creative console between 5.1 and headphones that I use depending on your speakers or headphones. In the first case everything is fine, but when I select "headphones" and use, in practice the spacing of the audio sound of video games its not quite correct, as if something was missing, like a sound I can not locate it precisely in front of me, but moving the view from right to left I can only hear it or precisely to the right or left, passes directly from one side, you feel the transition is not linear, and its missing the front: you know how I can fix?

Make sure that CMSS is on. Also, put windows in 5.1 speaker mode and select headphone from the Creative Control panel.

This. Sounds like you are running in a standard stereo mode. CMSS-3D must be enabled and 5.1 must be set in Windows before you run the game/movie/app/what-have-you.
