I havent liked Diablo since the first one, didnt like 2 and 3 looks to be just more of the same. so what does that make me??
On side note after all this time i expected D3 to look nice, and after seeing it in action I can honestly say I not impressed with its looks. I could looked so much better. Now the CGI scenes they look impressive

Blizzard's CGI scenes have been impressive since Warcraft III.
Still can't forget the awe I had when watching that raven's eye.

Diablo for its time was a good looking game that was running fine on about any decent computer.
Diablo was released not so long after games like Gabriel Knight and Little Big Adventure. 2-3 years before Diablo people were still using diskettes to trade MS-DOS games.
This is one of the strenght of Blizzard. Technically their games are average. But artistically their games look really good. You can run a Blizzard games on about any decent PC and Mac. Blizzard is really popular among Mac owners for that. It's actually rare to not have at least one mac owner in a wow raid pug.
Some people hate Blizzard for that but it's business. A game might be technically awesome but if only 5% of PC owners and 0% of Mac owners can play it gonna fail while Valve and Blizzard are laughing all the way to the bank.
To me Diablo 3 looks good enough. And it's a change of pace from the sea of FPS we have these days.

Servers are mostly stable now. The server stability was bad during about 30 minutes that I was playing today, my ping skyrocketed (their side, not mine causing issues) and it disconnected me, when I reconnected it was OVER... four thousand. Considering my connection and location my ping should be more like 100 yet it rarely gets better than 200-300, but even 300 is quite playable.

Like I said from the get go, it's going to be impossible to pirate this game unless they manage to hack the blizzard servers. Even then, it's a moot point because when the updats start rolling out, it'll make those private servers ulsess. Unlike WoW where all the game files are stored on disk, some game files for D3 are streamed from the server. Thats one of the reasons for the always online connection.

They should say sorry for how bad the game is never mind the server issues at launch a big let down even after Blizzard said we should lower our expectations for the game before the launch.

Requiring an online connection at all times for single player is the police state of the gaming world. That feels like gaming in North Korea kind of policies. That feels like East Germany before the wall fell. ...but we'll just bend over and take it because we just gotta have our Diablo!
Papers please.
What they should be apologizing for is draconian DRM policies that only hurt paying customers and gamers in the long run.

P.S. - Does the Collector's Edition come with a bottle of lube so you can at least make the experience of getting a bit less objectionable?
