What a waste of money.

So you're putting 4 in one computer, and 2 in a HTPC? What the hell for? Do you have like a 1000 ft projector screen with a 6000p resolution?

I guess I am ignorant as to why you would want two in a HTPC. But hey, it's your money. Good luck with your build.

I don't think it's as much to do with being jealous or ignorant, but it's more to do with the timing and the way you are presenting it; (A little smug and arrogant, maybe?.)

You need to remember (this is where a little Humility really pays off) we are going through a recession right now, and people are finding it hard enough to pay the bills let-alone put food on their table and have someone rub it in their face on how much better off they are than you. That's just my observation, anyway. But it seems like your job accounts for your expenses.

So will you be getting the GTX690 for you desktop instead? Seems like a more sensible logic, and the bragging rights, aw man, awesome

and for your information if you have nothing decent to say then saying nothing this site is for enthusiasts, and the reason i buy this stuff is because i run a games development company, i can tell by your language you're obviously just some douchebag, given the difference between a skoda and a rolls royce ill take the rolls, its exactly that limited mindset that keeps you dwelling the bottom of the pool, think small and get small in life

Let's all calm down and keep this on the builds presented. Of course 2 680's in a HTPC is overkill but if I could afford it I would, why not!

@OP good luck with your builds.

What's up with the near silly disrespect in this thread ? The guy simply does not deserve that kind of disrespect.

This website is for enthusiast PC afficonado's, he's proud about the new HW so since when does showing off ones hardware result in such weird reactions ?

Faces -- that's a mighty deck of cards man, keep us posted !

Seriously!???

Not being disrespectful or anything but... WTF!!!!?????

LOL you seem to have the money, so like Hilbert said, "Why not!?"

Go for it mate, though even 1 GTX680 in a HTPC I think it nearly 50x what you actually need. I thought they were meant to be quiet, cool running, and mainly for general PC stuff (web browsing, office, and some light gaming). But hey, if you want to blast BF3 at max details and you have the monies. Go for it!!!!

Just a quick question Faces Of Death....

Will you marry me!!!! PWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!!!!
