Here AMD Catalyst™ Application Profiles 12.4 CAP1

New profiles added to this release:
- Counter Strike: GO: Improves CrossFire performance
- FireFall: Improves CrossFire performance
- Test Drive: Ferrari Legend: Improves CrossFire performance
- Sniper Elite 2: Improves performance for single GPU configurations
- The Walking Dead: Resolve corruption when enabling Anti-Aliasing through the Catalyst Control Center on single GPU configurations
- Blades of Time: Resolve corruption when enabling Anti-Aliasing through the Catalyst Control Center on single GPU configurations
- Majesty HD: Disables CrossFire support, as the title is incompatible with CrossFire

I testing now for stuttering !!

Do these fix crossfire with 12.4 ?????

could not get 12.4 working in crossfire even with a fresh install.

CAPs don't fix CFX, they just help configure the cards for gaming in single or cfx modes

If you can't enable CFX there is something else wrong somewhere, reinstall your drivers

12.4+12.4cap...skyrim is still smooth as butter 60+fps on crossfire

12.4 WHQL and 12.4 CAP1 and still indoor stutter in Skyrim, everything else is little to no difference for my single 7950.

Okay guys look....however it was in the past I'm sure at ONE TIME it was for just multi-gpu.

Well things change, now there are occasionally some single-gpu fixes in CAPS.

Get used to it okay?

Thanks for this. Wow.. this is a hostile thread.

I thought it was well known for a while now that everyone can use CAPs even in single card configurations.

Anyway, I know it doesn't mean much performance-wise, but was crossfire support taken out of the HL2 engine at some point? (CS:S etc.). I get adequate performance with my setup with all the bells and whistles anyway, but I did notice with 12.4 that the 2nd card stays idle. Crossfire works in all other games I've tested (and no, alt-tabbing doesn't work for this one). Perhaps I answered my own question with crossfire not really being needed.. and the engine just detects this.

In your mom's basement? App profiles may have started out of multi-GPU, but not anymore. AMD's drivers have improved recently, it's probably best you don't write anything anymore.

In fact, I used to write drivers for hardware but not GPU's.

Yah, Guru3D (and I'm sure some other sites) tend to include *everything* that's in the driver (or at least, the last few revisions). They may also do it as given it's a CAP1, people might not realise all the prior CAP updates from 12.3 etc. are there. In any case, it's usually only the first section that is the most recent
