I remember LG having a 100" LCD for around $15k. So I can imagine what this one will go for. This tv takes Hi-Def Pr0n to another level.

so in like 15+ years we might have actual satalite or cable that feeds such res to customers, that is just as highly compressed as cable/sat is now if not worse

4K needs to find its way into most homes before we start worrying about 8K. It seems the first commercial 8K displays would be available in 5 years (just as was originally planned). You would need a monster GPU to play games on this resolution in any case.
