Gigabyte P45 DS3R overclocking issues (Q9450) -

Hello,
I'm one of the few people still stuck on the old platform with the good old Core 2 duo's and Quads. So I hope you people can help me out.
Specs:
Gigabyte P45 DS3R (S775)
Q9450
4gb of OCZ titanium ram 800mhz
PSU: Cooler master M620
I want to overclock my Q9450, which runs at a stock speed of 2,66ghz, to somewhere at 3,0 or 3,2ghz. I'm using a Freezer 7 pro cooler and the temperatures seem allright. Now for the issue:
I used to run a Core 2 Duo E8400. When I overclocked this CPU to 3,6ghz it ran fine for a few days, but after a while it just clocked itself down to 3,0ghz again without any warning or message. It just clocked itself down to stock speeds. Read: After a while.
When this happens, when I enter the bios it says "the system has experienced boot failures because of overclocking or changes of voltages". When I press enter, this is gone, the CPU is stock again and no issues further on.
I thought this CPU was just not a good overclocker so I just left it the way it was.
To run Battlefield 3 better I bought a Q9450. When I try to overclock this CPU the same issue occurs, though a little but different. To make it clear here is a overview:
- Clock at 3,0ghz: Leaves bios, posts bios, boots and starts windows normally. This runs ( like the E8400) well for a while, but after a few days it clocks itself down and when I re-enter the bios it says that same message again.
- Clock at 3,2ghz: Leaves bios, does not post by itself, needs a reboot from the button, then it does post and runs at 3,2 for a while again. After a while it clocks itself down and when I re-enter the bios the same message appears.
Below are pics of my settings plus the message
This is what I receive after a while of overclocking:

These are my settings:

As seen on the second pic, when I put the FSB at 366mhz the CPU runs at 2,92ghz. This way my memory runs at 732mhz. (stock = 800mhz)
When I put the FSB at 400mhz which makes the CPU run at 3,2ghz the memory runs at it's stock speed (800mhz).
I even tried to put the voltage up a bit, did not have any effect.
Do you guys maybe know what settings are wrong?

My 2nd rig has an ep45-ds3r, it used to do that about once every 2 months but never did it again after a bios update. Maybe try that. GL

I flashed it to the newest bios as you said, and the first thing I noticed is that it now does post at 3,16ghz. I did it yesterday and it still has not clocked itself down. I'm hopefull this was the solution, thanks!
But I will be watching it the next couple of days.
PS.
One core gets 67 degrees (c), while the others reach max 58. Is 67 too hot?
