Fortnite.....New Title From Epic Games -
04-08-2012, 14:29
Seems like Epic have got something new for the pc coming. http://www.computerandvideogames.com...xclusive-game/
Looks like they've got bored of making Gears of War for the xbox.
Most people seem to be guessing that it will be a new Unreal Torney game using the new game engine they showed last year.

I've got my fingers crossed for them to port the Gears of War sequels to the PC. Failing that, I don't see why PC and console titles need to be mutually exclusive. Just because many of them are problematic doesn't mean that it's not possible. That said, I'm always down for a new FPS.

Microshaft is the reason you can blame GOW 2 and 3 not on PC. They are willing to bribe Devs to prevent multiplatform and exclusive or earlier content for theyre system.

I'm with you on this dude, it's almost definately maybe Unreal III!
It's their only IP that we PC gamers would appreciate right now. I highly doubt it's going to be UT4. Too many other multiplayer games already.

Indeed but the Time Frame is long enough that once it reaches that releaSING a port is useless since most poeople who wanted to play it have alreayd or lost interest most games that went that route found this out.
I enjoyed GOW1 more on PC then X360 I gotta say tho...

no, it's long been reported to be an MMO. They already stated they were not making any more UT games. I hope they change their mind. Nothing official yet of course, but a lot of evidence points clearly to an MMO of some type and they clearly want to focus on licensing engines.

Surprised to see this quite frankly.. I felt like Epic shafted the PC platform with UT3 (what a stupid game for hardcore fans of previous versions) so I will not hold my breath. they would have to make a pretty "epic" game to win me back after that whole fiasco.

i really liked UT3. i've had each and every one of them, i never saw what the big deal was with the differences but some great user created maps for ut3, i always have a blast every time i play.

They are probably doing it as a next-gen experiment, then when the xbox3/PS4 comes it's right back to consoles

That is what I think to.
Showcase the engine on the best hardware available and then never do any thing PC exclusive with it again.

It's been like that with current gen. Just look at all those rumours of always online consoles! For that reason alone, ie. testing, PC gaming won't be going anywhere any time soon.
Anyway, all we know it could be ultimate "console" port for the PC ... Infinity Blade

We could really use a new top notch PC only, FUN shooter, not just a rehash of CoD and Halo, but a good fun shooter.
When was the last time someone put out a game where you could carry like 10 guns, one more epic than the other?
