Default Voltage resets from itself GTX570 - 03-23-2012, 22:15 | posts: 3 | Location: Switzerland

Hello everyone,

First my GPU: POV GTX 570 2560MB GDDR5 Model
All i wanted is to Overclock it at least to 800Mhz. But without increasing the voltage i can't get higher than 780Mhz.
So i wanted to go a little higher. But everytime I press apply the voltage just "jumps" back to stock voltage (which is 0.988V btw)
Unofficial Overclocking is enabled and the EULA are accepted

Do you know what the problem is?

I have the POV performance boost 2.5GB 570 gtx too.
Are you using the latest beta (currently 2.20) of MSI Afterburner? Older versions don't work.
After installing that and unlocking the voltage option in settings I have upped min from 0.988V to 1.05V without any issue and even closing MSI it retains that voltage. Currently running 810/1620/2000 with out any issue at all

Also you may be changing the 3d voltage but running on desktop it would be using 2d mode voltage. I think these cards have two setting for each mode.
