I have that already and just like every Logitech pad i had, the wired broke or died quickly. Logitech controllers are cheap.

Can someone answer my question about using that 360 pad on my pc please.

I use a Gamestop "knock off" 360 controller. It's pretty much plug and play. Most games that support joysticks will run it "right out of the box"

I've had a Xbox 360 controller (pelican brand) for about 5 years. Yes it is just plug-n-play. It's not recognized as a logitech pad on games that don't support it. To play GTA: San Andreas and some other games I had to use XBCD or Xpadder programs to emulate keys. However nowadays almost all games are console ports so they are ready to go (eg. Batman: AC). I do use it for FSX, BF2, BF3 (to fly ), and many driving games. If this pad ever breaks, I'll be getting another Xbox pad to replace it.

Yep. Won't even have to install any drivers. Windows will just sort it out. I did try the actual Xbox ones but there was nothing of use in them so I just went with the ones Windows installed.

XBox 360 controller is great.
Be sure to get the PC version.
edit: just checked and it seems they are one and the same. It supports both PC and XBox straight away.

I clicked the link but my PC started sending UDP packets to my router and wouldnt connect to the site cos I block UDP.
I've never had a site do that when scripting is off before, so I'm not going there, sneaky people.

I just found Play.com are selling it for £53 LOL
http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/842412...s/Product.html
Mine was £16.
