Hey guys anyone else have this phone?
Any hints or tips would be awesome!
A couple of things, how do i remove all the bloatware on this, half the stuff ive never heard of or will use. Also Killing all background apps in one go, is this possible?
Cheers, Chris
EDIT: More playing around i've found kill all apps from the marketplace which works well. Is there not a way to kill the app from closing it?
Also If I do a hard reset will that get rid of everything but the phone and basic apps like marketplace and camera and such?
Don't mind my noobness lol

You can root your device and remove the APKs yourself. However, rooting a device will void all warranties and even with the SuperUser app, if you don't watch what you sideload to your phone (installing through other sources than Google Play), then you might run the risk of Android malware.

I'm usinh HTC Sensation, not exactly the same, but similar in specs. For task killing, u can download task killer app from the Market (Google Play), you'll find many there. It's convenient, but sometimes, it'll kill some system application (e.g. HTC Sense, HTC Hub, etc), so u need to put those on "Ignore List".
If u restart the phone, it will help in clearing all caches from all app, but some task killer also have clear caches option too The only way to get rid of apps u don't want, is rooting ur phone. There are many custom ROM available for Evo 3D, but if I were u, I'll wait coz HTC is rolling ICS update for Sensation and Evo 3D. Good luck

@snowdweller,congrats on you new phone!
I got the same one two weeks ago and im loving it.
I got Europe gold trim backround version without all bloatware installed.
Consider rooting you phone and deleting all apps you dont like.
Adwanced task killer was the app of my choice back in the day when i used HD2.
Now i just stick to default task killer that came with the phone(notifications/quick settings)
Anyway,my opinions on this phone are totaly positive.
I had some concerns about the speed of Snapdragon Scorpion chipset in EVO 3g and Sensation compared to SGS2 chipset but i was pleasently surprised how responsive and smooth EVo 3d is

Id like to use the inbuilt task man aswell but it doesn't seem to list all the things running like task killer does.
I can't believe you can't uninstall programs already installed on this. I can't even delete spiderman 3d apparently and that game just doesn't wanna run without constant updating
Also whats the usual with layout with Android phones? I noticed the customization is pretty epic and basically can have apps anywhere and widgets anywhere. Is the idea to have widgets on the rotating screens then apps in the app list? or like apple and have the apps on the rotating windows? lol I know its preference but I can imagine there would be a general rule of thumb?
