Sweet, I'll give these a shot. I've just started playing Skyrim and that did NOT like the 8.95s running with AA (the strange artifacts) on my 6870

So that's what those are! Just saw that yesterday, first time booting up Skyrim since I upgraded to 12.3...

I gave them a go. Benchmark3D had the card list with the 7900 series listed. They might be good to go for a single 7970 but I got nothing but headaches with crossfire. When I finally did get the drivers to enable crossfire my second gpu stayed at 925/1575 of all things. I went to uninstall them they were not listed in the Control Panel's Program and Features. Used Atiman to clear everything out. Could be just my bad luck with them. Gonna roll back to 12-2 pre-certified and use the atipdlxx.dll to fix the 2d/3d clocks bug.

Well the good news is that these 8.96 drivers seem to have resolved the blocking in Skyrim with AA (at least on my 6870)

I also noticed they came with some CAPs, which seem to be different to the 12.1 CAP3s as it didnt detected the previous version; also given the date of the driver, they are potentially newer as the build date on these is meant to be the 16th and the 12.1 CAP3 were the 14th.

Thanks a lot marthand!
Godly driver for BF3 so far
Still need to disable CfX for Skyrim though, because of the face/menu flickering.
I think there is no uninstaller in this package, but no problem since you only need to run the installer again and select uninstall.

Hi. In my HD6870CFX with 12.1 + cap3, the image in Skyrim is perfect, no flickering. You choose the TESV in Catalyst 3D CFX options?

Seem a bit better than 8.95 for me and my 6870. Warzones are still pretty rubbish though. That's obviously something that needs fixing on BW's side though.

The performance seems to be very good with this one. I got 5240 points in 3Dmark11, with other drivers only 5150, Unigine also up a bit. I tested Skyrim only, and it smooth as butter. I did not liked the 3.95-s.. This is definitely better. The only problem I got, is the same as the 3.95-s, msi afterburner can't set clocks anymore. That is a pity. I've heard that this can be fixed when you "uppgrade"-install this driver, from something that was ok, but I don't do overclock on the VGA anyway, so I don't bother yet. But It would be nice from AMD if they would fix that.
