10 fps isnt even impressive anymore these days.
I hope d4x / d4s will be better for their own respected uses. Otherwise so far I only wanna see D800 and 5D mark 3

Probably similar but we have to wait and see...
All I can say is I've seen high iso image samples.
Whilst they are great, ANYTHING over 50,000 gets really bad...
I take it the Canon will be the same, if not worse...
Looking at 100,000 and 200,000 iso, woah.....
At 200,000 iso it looks like a midrange slr at 25,000 or worse!!

Lol, true that. Tried took a pic using my friend's EOS 50D + EF 24-70mm f/2.8L, the image gets really noisy from ISO 2500++ xD
Olympic is near, I'm curious either white+black/beige lenses attached to 1DX or solid black lenses attached to D4 dominating the stadium xD
Looking forward how Canon will response this, because D4 offers some features which 1DX don't: AF point can be set to f/8 (1DX max only at f/5.6), useful for wildlife photographers using extender and illuminated buttons.
Beside, D4 is a bit cheaper than 1DX. Let the competition begins!!!

have you guys seen the wireless control capability? it's pretty darn amazing. photographers and videographers get to control the camera functions through an iphone/ipad (for example). and the best part about it is that it's not an app from apple.. so it's not tied or limited or stops working whenever apple updates or whatnot.

Imagine walking around with a D3X around your neck along with a D3S as a second body with a couple of f2.8 Gold ring lenses...

hahah yeah, the thing about about brasil is the pretty places, like beaches and stuff you can easily walk around with a camera and nothing bad will happen.
but the interesting places, like center of the city and other places, it's dangerous enough as it is, then add something that costs an arm and two legs and walk around with it... lol
but on topic, man this and the D800 look like killer cameras. im pondering if i should get the D7000, or wait for a new version of that based on these 2 cameras.

man.. i would love to be on your beaches.. and take endless pics of the babes. lol.
but on topic. there will sure be a D7100 in the near future, but i haven't heard/read anything about it yet.the D7000 is good as it is.. i have no regrets getting it even if a new one comes out now.

I am not a fan of either or, but strictly from technical point of view, I am more impressed with Canon's 1D X than D4.
