Default OSD in DotA2 - 01-06-2012, 00:17 | posts: 13

I can't get the overlay to show in Dota 2 Beta. What is the problem? It's 32bit, and a DX9 app. Not sure if it injects own libraries, but not after adding a separate profile for it, no OSD.

I would also like to know if there's a way to successfully activate the OSD for Dota2.
And yes, otherwise it's working (working on AC:B, Skyrim, ME2, SC2 etc.).

Thx in advance for any info.

But Dota 2 has multiple renderers, Direct3D9Ex support can be disabled with nod3dex switch for this game so you can get OSD working for it.

I thought all source games used this renderer. Something about improved coverage sampling antialiasing by using DX10 capabilities in DX9. Guess it's only Dota 2 (disclaimer: I don't have Dota 2).
