Default Fan Speed Problem - 05-05-2011, 16:06 | posts: 4 | Location: AUS

Hi Guys, i just upgraded my 4870 cooler to Arctic cooling Twin Turbo Pro, i plug the fan power to the graphic card. But now it seem like the fan speed fluctuate a lot, and the high and low is big variance. I try put the fan speed to manual, adjust to 20% or 50% or 100%. Don't seem to make any difference.

Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks

check the fan cable of twin turbo. If it has only 3 pins, there is no way you can control fan speed over afterburner. It doesn't support ....

The twin turbo pro does have the four pin connector.
Anyway, the cooler die after 2 hours of running, i returned to the seller for an exchange, hopefully the new one will be alright.

No one have this problem before?
