You always get what you pay for. ALWAYS.

That said, you're probably better off getting the Apple AV adapter, or unless you can find one by a bigger brand name like Belkin get that.

I'll ask my friend to check if his tv has the component inputs before he goes to the apple store.

If he doesn't have Component you should have Composite for sure.

Generic + resupported4.

Don't get ripped off by the Apple crap.

Also you don't always get what you pay for, that is a mugs opinion and it's the same idiots who buy £70 HDMI cables instead of £2 ones when they work exactly the same.

That's also a load of rubbish.

You get what you pay for, a $2 HDMI cable will still give you problems and is poorly made.

If you stick to something say a $15 HDMI cable by a decent brand, you'll at least know that it lasts better.

You don't go out and buy Monster Cables though.

All you have to do is look around and every device, you get what you pay for definitely. Then there's devices that take that too far.

Dine, you need the happy middle ground. But I still don't think it always applies. All my devices use £1 HDMI cables (from a major UK retailer called Poundland where everything is £1). And I've had not a single problem. But yes you may get the odd dodgy one, but I could buy 10 spares for the price.

Anyway for your iPod try get component.
