My Nvidia card has a DVI port, and so does my Hanns-G hw191d screen, But when i switch it to digital it goes right back to standard and screen wont work at all without standard cable, DVI cable is brand new and i don't get it... help?

Try messing about in the nvidia control panel/display settings,try the second dvi port on your card if you have one,try a new graphics driver,install drivers for your monitor if you have them,if not download them from the hans g website of something.

Looks like you have EDID trouble. You could try to override your monitor's EDID using a custom .inf driver file.
