you have fan noise on netbooks, but its often just one small fan that barely makes noise

on my netbook it didnt even start up until I had been using it for about 30 mins

i ordered this days ago and arrived today..put another 1Gb DDR2 667 into it..deleted main partition W7 Start Edition and installed W7 Ultimate..didnt started it yet as its at home..but i hope extra 1GB (total 2GB) helps to it..

The thing is i cant understand why ASUS or other brands put useless bloadware sht into these devices.

well its up and running..even instaleld osme useful Asus apps that helps to use of TABLET. screen is RESISTIVE so not very good as capacitive screen. (i have a capacitive laptop which is HP tx1300et and its screen is abit better than this)

But interestingly, even with RES. screen its very very responsive..iam using my fingers, not pen and i must say its as good as my Hp touchsmart TX1300et. With extra 1Gb ram the system responses very good and accurate. The product is light, not as heavy as my HP which is not possible to hold it with 1 hand after a time. this Asus is light so easy to hold .it comes with Asus ExpressGate which let u press a button and enter a second OS of Asus while device is shutdown..so u press it, device boots in 3-5 seconds and u enter asus os which has: FLASH enabled Internet browser, Wifi, SKYPE(or what ever it is) and photo stuff..its even an OS itself to surf to net.

cant comment on battery life . i will keep charging it for 8 hours at least, so 8 hours on AC.

as i said, performance is good enough. i plugged a 8GB SDHC and using it as READYBOOST, maybe reason is that..i am trying to figure it out.

Well i recommend this? depends on what u r looking for..Mobile, responsive, light..its good to me.
