Question Best Online Console Game! - 05-26-2010, 18:47 | posts: 1,434 | Location: The Octagon

Hey,

I am going to buy a console game to play online, I have a PS3, and it connected to a good internet connection, I would really appreciate some suggestions and why.

I like all sorts of games, less keen on FPS games due to being used to mouse/keyboard for them, I would go with an FPS if its super worth it, but would prefer something else that I can relax in bed and play with my wireless controller and not having to worry too much about 0.001ms headshots.

Something active, and really good, maybe like world of warcraft, but I am open to ANYTHING just with good reason.

Thanks so much for any advice.

Fat Princess is an awesome game. In fact its the only game besides God of War that ever gets played on my PS3. I don't know if they have a demo or not but its well worth the money.

if your into fighting games i recommend super street fighter 4 if you want fast paced fighting or tekken 6 if you want slow paced fighting

or if your an fps fan go for Bad company 2, modern warfare 2 or MAG.

and third person i can only think of uncharted 2 and red dead redemption =/

and for racing i recommend modnation racers =D

Demon's Souls is hands down the best game I have played on the PS3. It is designed to be played all the way though more than once. It has a unique online game. It can be played online Co-op. You can invade another persons game and destroy their prgress (only after you beat the game once). It has a robust customization system.
Down side is it has a rediculous learning curve. Get past it and it is non-stop awesome gaming. You will be frustrated and love it.
