Unhappy No driver for GT330m?? - 03-28-2010, 19:01 | posts: 453 | Location: Denmark

Hello there
I have a stupid question about some Nvidia drivers. I have a laptop with a GT330m but I can't find drivers anywhere to it.. other than on the manufacturer's web-page but they are way outdated.. I am stuck with version 188.67. So where migt I get them?? I spend some time googling it but with no success. Do I have to modify existing drivers if I want to get a newer version?
I think my current driver is causing rivatuner to mess up. It can't recognize my drivers. MSI afterburner cannot overclock the memory as much as I want to (I have the throttled back version, need some tool to overclock it to standard clocks..) which I believe rivatuner can.

I could mod an inf for the latest drivers if i knew your device id and sub id eg. DEV_0407&SUBSYS_01F11028. You can get this from device manager. Open up the display adaptor and click on details then hardware ids.

You would really do that for me? Whow! I would be most thankfull
The information I get when I select hardware IDs is:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0A2B&SUBSYS_9072104D&REV_A2
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0A2B&SUBSYS_9072104D
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0A2B&CC_030000
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0A2B&CC_0300
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How can I get the modded driver and what must I do to install it? Which version can you mod for me?

I am using Windows 7 x64 Home premium.
There're only older driver versions for my graphicscard on that webpage. :/

these should be fine.. they support the GT330 which is what you have..
http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7_wi...7.13_whql.html

(just select the right OS)

edit: hmm, well it seems like the GT 330 is a desktop model even though googling it brings nothing but GT 330M brings a lot of results.. so maybe im wrong?

Question NVidia GT330 - Windows 8 - 12-18-2012, 18:36 | posts: 4

Friends, can you please help me?

I upgraded my Laptop to Windows 8 and isnīt no support for my Video Card NVidia GeForce GT330.

In NVDIA site was said to have support for Windows 8, as in link below:

More after, I could not install the drivers.

I contacted NVidia and she said I needed to seek support in a community, as do changes to my hardware ID, not quite understand.

My Laptop model is Vaio CW: VPCCW27FX

The Hardware ID is:

PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0A2B&SUBSYS_9072104D&REV_A2
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0A2B&SUBSYS_9072104D
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0A2B&CC_030000
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0A2B&CC_0300

Can you help me?

Dude, i got the same problem. It is killing me. So far, i have tried everything installing the damn driver updates for my vaio. I tried to modify the .inf files myself, but no luck. I tried to download the modified .inf files from other forums that have similar problems, but no luck here either. If you find something, please let me know.

Well, I solved the problem. I solved it by installing the driver update with the have-disk method.
