Yo,

I have oc my system and my phenom II x4 940 3.6 has better results than Intel Core i7 Processor 965 Extreme Edition

Mine System and Score After OC
3DMark Score P20127 3DMarks
CPU Score 39291
Graphics Score 17312
Processor AMD Phenom II X4 940
Processor clock 3600 MHz
Graphics card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295
Memory 8192 MB

Fastest System
3DMark Score P40672 3DMarks
CPU Score 31669
Graphics Score 44930
Processor Intel Core i7 Processor 965 Extreme Edition
Processor clock 4309 MHz
Graphics card EVGA GTX295 Quad SLI Dual
Memory 2048 MB

As you may have seen my CPU score is better than fastest system cpu score. Of course, Fast system beat me due quad SLI.. Is that normal?

Btw what do you think about my score? I build this pc myself and seems very fast and stable.

1.You have over 4 times more ram 2048 vs 8gb
2.You might have physx on-means gpu does the cpu work.
3.You might have a hell good PC

You definitely have PhysX enabled... for example (a sample of my results):

CPU score - PhysX enabled: 38538 (CPU @2.67GHz)
CPU score - PhysX disabled: 20990 (CPU @3.4GHz)

yeah I had the same thing and was really confused, it's definitely physx acceleration, which is why they don't allow you to make your scores "official" with new nvidia drivers that enable physx
