What does "Enable Old I2C Control System" do? -

I don't have any idea what the meaning or purpose of this setting is. I have a Radeon 9800 Pro 128 MB. Any insight on what it does or which option I should choose would be greatly appreciated.

same here.. I enable it and it's still the same thing.I think it's for card that are pre-R500?
