If you are running vista, you can install the latest stereo driver pair. (Not the latest nvidia and the latest stereo, they have to match.
i.e. both driver versions have to be the same.)
If you are running windows XP, then you can't use the latest AFAIK.

I am running XP. Where Can obtainn the 3D stereo driver? Should I have a compatible screen? And will it work with b/g glasses?

b/g? i guess you mean blue / green?
If you need to do so, you can change the colour of the filtering through the drivers.
There is an option to select the colour you want.
You can find the drivers in the guru3d download section. Just remember, look for the latest version you can find that is compatible with XP, and then also download the matching forceware version.

Stathis, it looks like you and I are in the same boat...with a 9 series card we can't use a Forceware version below 177, and the stereo drivers of that vintage are ONLY for Vista...

Now I just have to hope I can at some later time afford a iz3D monitor ($350 on newegg)...

If you come up with a real solution to this one, let me know. I finally have a decent setup with the shutter glasses and a high refresh CRT monitor. I'm dying to run a game with my new video card.

I did a dual-boot with Vista 64-Bit, installed there the NEWest 180.84 drivers and then then the latest 3D stereo drivers.. They both worked perfectly with the 9800GTX+ after a restart. The results are very good especially at HL2 the only problem is that I was experimenting with the gamma and the red is not the same red as my 3d glasses is. Same with blue.
